Charlotte Crime Crack-Up: Your Weekly Review of Crime in Charlotte

The Watch Commander's report is the who, what, where and when of crime in Charlotte-Mecklenburg.
It is released nearly every day to the media by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police. It's a compilation of what happened each evening while most of us slept. It's not a full list of all the crime that took occurred here, since it doesn't include everything that took place during the day. But since a good portion of the armed robberies, shootings and other violent crimes go down at night, it captures a lot of the county's crime.
As part of a new feature on this blog, I'll publish a full, unedited copy of the week's Watch Commander's reports each Friday.
Here's the report. Enjoy. But I warn you. After a few weeks of reading this, you won't go near a convenience store again.
