Paris Hilton Got Robbed!
It's too bad Paris Hilton doesn't live in Mecklenburg County. If she did, she'd still be on the road ... like Letus Flowe.

Flowe Hilton Jackson
Flowe has been charged with breaking more than 40 driving laws in Mecklenburg County. From reckless driving to endangering life, limb or property of another to failure to wear a seatbelt to operating a vehicle with no insurance, Flowe has done it all -- often while drinking alcohol in his vehicle at the same time.
Like Hilton, he was charged with driving without a license or with his license revoked. The difference is that Flowe has been arrested 22 times in Mecklenburg County for driving without a license or with his license revoked and has never served a day of jail time for it.
Hilton is doing jail time after being caught driving twice with a suspended license while on probation for drunk driving. Flowe has racked up five drunk driving charges and one dismissed drunk driving charge. But he has done just one jail sentence -- a 20 month term for habitual drunk driving. The rest of the time he got fines, probation, prayers for judgment or his charges were dismissed.
Flowe is not alone. Many of the Hidden Valley Kings gang members who were recently arrested on federal charges also terrorized Charlotte's roads. One Kings member, Danielle Jackson, has been charged with driving without an operator's license eight times, driving with his license revoked three times, reckless driving with wanton disregard for human life once and eluding arrest once after he led police on a chase. Most of those charges were dismissed by the district attorney's office. Jackson has never done a day of jail time on any of them.

How can this happen at all much less on a regular basis? Considering the influx of criminals surging accross the border we'd better start building jails and prisons like never before in hopes of judges doing their jobs. What a pipe dream.
